Acai Berry Diet for Weight Loss

Delicious, healthy and looks drop dead gorgeous— and yes, I am still talking about a fruit—Acai berry. It is known to be one of the healthiest fruits in the planet.

Acai berries are amazing when it comes to anti-aging, weight loss program and many more. But, when it comes to weight loss, there are a lot of things you need to take care of with Acai berries.

Acai Berry: Does it really help you to lose weight?

Acai berries actually have a lot of anti-oxidant formula and these berries are deep purple colored berries that taste like the combination of wild berries and chocolate.

Acai berries don’t only have weight loss benefits, but it also help you fight against cancer, inflammation, diabetes, aging, neurological diseases, and bacterial infections.

There are no specific diet plans available for your weight loss when it comes to any specific food items. You need to add other stuffs too.

Although there is no specific Acai berry diet plan, here is what you can do to add Acai berries in your diet list—

  1. Add Acai berries with desserts—You can make desserts like frozen yoghurt and add Acai berries on your dessert to satisfy sweet tooth and make it healthy. Here is the recipe for you—
  • 7 ounce of fresh Acai puree
  • Fresh pomegranates 1 cup
  • 32 ounce Greek Yoghurt
  • ½ cup of lime juice
  • ½ cup of honey
  • 1 table spoon vanilla extract

At first toss the frozen pomegranate arils with the Acai puree, honey, vanilla, and lime juice. Now drain the liquid from the fruit and honey mixture right into the yogurt and set aside. Now whisk until it’s smooth and Pour the yogurt base into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. In the last two minutes of mixing, pour in the Acai-pomegranate mixture and then freeze for a little bit to allow the frozen yogurt to solidify.

  1. Acai Berry on a breakfast platter – You can consume Acai berries anyway you want. Make an Acai Berry smoothie. Add them in your breakfast platter. Here is what you can do—
  • Add any of your favorite fruits and nuts. You can also add spinach, banana, or nuts. Add some apple sauce.
  • Blend everything in a blender until its smooth and then serve it. This will give you great satisfaction to your hungry stomach.
  1. Make Acai berry muffins – Making various dishes with Acai berry will also help you. Like you can make Acai berry muffins, add it on chicken recipes, turkeys, fishes and a lot more. Here is one recipe for you–
  • 4 chicken breasts without the skin
  • Chicken stock 2 cups
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups fresh Acai berries
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/3 brandy
  • 1/3 grapefruit juice
  • 2 tablespoon Acai berry vinegar

In a heating pan, melt butter and add the brown sugar; wait until it’s dissolved. Now add brandy, grapefruit juice and vinegar and let it boil. After that add one cup of the berries and chicken stock; keep stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 25 minutes.

Now preheat the oven to 79.4 degree C and cook the chicken breasts. Season with pepper and salt now after both the sides of the chicken breasts looks brown; add the sauce and the remaining berries to the chicken. Now bake the chicken by covering it for two hours. Now take it out and serve. Now you can garnish it with remaining berries.
